O’r Mynydd I’r Mor Candle in Stoneware Candle Jar
O’r Mynydd I’r Mor Candle in Stoneware Candle Jar
Special collaboration with David Brown Pottery
We love collaborating with other local artisan producers and we are delighted to offer our very popular natural soy wax candle in a gorgeous stoneware candle holder designed and hand-thrown by David and glazed by Anouska, at David Brown Pottery, set amid the ever changing landscape of Ystumtuen in the Cambrian mountains.
With beautiful simplicity of shape and colours evocative of our unique Welsh landscape, it provides a perfect and lasting gift for all who have visited, live and treasure this part of Wales. Each piece is truly unique, as the glaze reacts differently depending on the position of the item within the kiln.
Once the candle has finished, you can reuse the jar. It is dishwasher and food safe, making a sustainable gift for your loved ones, or as a treat for yourself!

Comes in a gift box with ribbon.
Candle Instructions
When burning this soy wax candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 2.5 hours so that the wax melts and pools to the edge of the jar. Soy wax has a memory and this helps the candle to avoid "tunnelling" down, in the centre of the jar.
Thereafter burn the soy candle for a minimum of 2 hours and maximum of 4 hours. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 of an inch, having allowed it to cool first.
After the candle has been used, pour boiling water into the jar, just below the top. Let the water cool for 2 to 3 hours until the water has pulled the wax to the top to form a disc. Remove the wax and wash the jar with warm soapy water. Dry and use for anything you like!
General Candle Care:
Never leave a candle burning unattended
Make sure the candle is placed on a stable, heat resistant surface
Never place a candle in a draughty area or let it burn to the bottom of the container
Extinguish the flame by placing the lid on the candle jar

A blend of pure essential oils is used in the candle and melts and although essential oils are natural, they do contain naturally occurring allergens. For this reason they have been assessed and are fully compliant with the European Union's Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation. With certain essential oils and fragrance oils, it is a legal requirement for labels to contain information regarding potential hazards, however unlikely they may be to occur - for example, if the items were dropped into a water source containing aquatic life they would be harmful, or they may cause an allergic reaction if rubbed on the skin. You can find further information on our CLP Page.
